Our Maritime Pathways Camp is a week-long adventure introducing campers to the thriving maritime industry and different career possibilities in the maritime field.
Fully funded by the Polycarp foundation, 48 campers will explore
Galveston Bay and The Port of Galveston by land and by sea!
Campers will engage in science, technology, engineering, and math (S.T.E.M.)-based curriculum during fun filled activities every day.
Evening activities include fishing, beach volleyball and movie night!
At the end of the week, campers leave with a better understand of how S.T.E.M. is applied in the real world and they will have made some new friends along the way!

Visit with Maritime professionals from the
Coast Guard, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Security K9 and Become CPR and First Aid Certified.
Our 3 hour S.T.E.M. to STERN field trip adventure onboard the M/V Baysmart Express will cruise through Offatts Bayou, the Intracoastal Waterway, through Pelican's Cut into the
Houston Ship Channel before returning to base through the
Port of Galveston.
It's a side of Galveston that you can only see from the water.
Campers will learn about marine life, birds, sharks, sting rays, and sea turtles, and maybe even
spot a pod of dolphins.
